Faizan Talib serves as the simulation coordinator in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022 before continuing his education at VCU, where he earned a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Cancer Health Equity Science. During his time at VCU, he completed an internship with the VCU Health Hub at 25th, supporting community engagement initiatives and collaborating on cancer education efforts tailored to Richmond communities.
Faizan also contributed to cancer-focused research and completed his capstone project, The Impact of Healthy Lifestyle Interventions on the Quality of Life in Cancer Patients, which explored how behavioral and lifestyle interventions can influence patient well-being during and after cancer treatment. He presented his capstone findings at the Virginia Public Health Association (VPHA) annual conference. Faizan remains passionate about the connection between education, research, and patient-centered care. Outside of work, Faizan enjoys staying active at the gym, playing video games, and spending time with his cats.
