Keith Pelletier, PhD, MBA, MHS, CCP is the Director of Cardiovascular Perfusion Program in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia and an Assistant Professor at VCU. He joined VCU in 2025 to help develop the first Perfusion program in Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut, Master of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion from Quinnipiac University, Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Quinnipiac University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Healthcare Administration from Northcentral University. Dr. Pelletier has been a practicing perfusionist (CCP) for over 15 years. He enjoys all topics regarding perfusion and has a particular interest in simulated perfusion practice. It is his desire to support a perfusion program that will provide the highest caliber of education and training, empowering students to become invaluable contributors to hospital perfusion programs.
